Day 15 — My celebrity crush

Quick, quick post before I leave work.  Going home and making dinner, having a shower and then coming back to Toronto to see KO at the Sound Academy.  Tomorrow is aerial silks class and then the outdoor show.  I'll have to take the kidlets to the dog park at some point, likely Sunday.

Day 13 — Something I want to buy


Hmmmm.. This is a loaded question. I could say I want to buy a Murcielago, or a Bugatti…..or should I say that I want to buy a bathing suit. Which sounds more realistic? I NEED to buy a bathing suit or two for Barbados in May, more importantly for when I’m doing the pool training for the Scuba certification in 2.5 weeks.

I would also like to buy a couch, perhaps something in a grey colour. Do you know how hard it is to try and find a grey sectional couch? Most of them come in cream or brown or leather/pleather, which I’m not down for considering we have the occasional diggers in our house *cough* Charlie and Baxter. I also know that I don’t want to settle for something mediocre either....

I’d also like to buy new end tables and a coffee table once we’ve got the new couches. So, see, I could respond to this question all damn day if I wanted to but let’s be honest and realistic here, Mmmmkay?

I should also mention that I’m posting more comments from my actual blogger account, I’m no longer being a lurker (sounds creepy, don’t you think) and actually posting back to my blogger name/blog. I don’t blog for anything other reason but for myself. I like to write, I like to read blogs, and I like to also account for my daily happenings, as though I’m leaving behind some trail of my life’s existence. I pick up and go all the time when it comes to blogging. Sometimes I’m all about it, other times I lose interest in it……So we’ll see what shall come of this.

Anyone want to help with a layout? I’m a flippin retard when it comes to html and all that “fun” shit. Oh and be forewarned, I tend to cuss a lot, so if you don’t like anything that comes out of my mouth or don’t like people that swear, move along to the next blog. Next!

It’s hump day today….Short weeks are always the longest. We don’t have another long weekend until April 22nd, which is when Easter is. *Groan*

Looks like Mr. J. is helping Alex move on Friday. Then it seems that we’re going to the Sound Academy late Friday night to get in on a private event that KO is singing at. Sweet. Love that dude, I’ve had one of his songs stuck on repeat in my head since yesterday. Saturday I have my aerial silks class (see picture in previous post of me just chilling at the beginning of a class in the silk) and then I’m sure after that, we’ll head down to the Outdoor Show by the Airport. Our dive lessons start in 2.5 weeks, crazy!! I still have to do the online portion of my studying, I better get on that shit soon.

Not much of a weekend this past long wknd, Alex came down and I spent most of the weekend chillin with them, cooking or cleaning.  S'all good though.  Went to the dog park on Sunday.  Gave them a bath afterwards and they look so nice and white and smell edible.  :)  Did laundry, groceries, bought some things we needed for repairs. and Wait for it.... Monday afternoon, the ceiling fan was installed by Jeff, as was the shower curtain rod.  I had to swing over to Mom's house to get Brian's drill because it seems that Jeff's drill battery charger has gone MIA.

Looks really good, I must say.  See, that didn't take too long to do.  Well, literally no, in essence, yes.  Oh well, it's done and I couldn't be happier!!!!

I'm so glad it's a short week - I'm tired.  I wanted to get some paw prints tattoo'd on me this wknd but that never happened.  Hopefully soon :)

So I missed a few days of the daily blog crap.  Forget what the hell it's called at the moment.
Day 08 — Something I crave

At the moment, I crave nothing.  Perhaps a sandwich, my lunch maybe?  lol  Just drinking water as we speak.


Day 09 — Pet peeves

People that are completely unaware of their surroundings, people that don't move over for others when they may or may not be walking 5 people wide on a sidewalk, people that are rude.  Some funny stories from GO Transit, commuting the past 5 and a half years.  lol.

Day 12 — Something I bought recently

A couple of t-shirts from Smart Set, tights, tank and sports bra from Lululemon.  Bought some things at Home Depot over the weekend too.  And Zellers, bought some glasses since our Gluckstein ones have dwindled and broke over the past 3 years.  Too bad, they were nice.

So that brings me back to current.  Can I just say that I love having Alex visit, he's one of the nicest people and one of the few of Jeff's friend's that isn't an idiot, but am I glad that I don't have to listen/watch/suffer through that many hours of Call of Duty.  Holy shit people.  :)

Day 06 — A fun fact about me

I have 20 piercings and two tattoo's.  Ran out of things to pierce asides from adorning my face in metal, so looks like tattoo's are more for the future.  Would like dog footprints next :)

Woops, forgot about this 30-day thingy already.  Got Friday.  So I guess I'll do Day 2, 3 and 4 now.

Dad 2 - Favorite movie(s) - That's a hard one, I have a few.  Fear, Blow, Collateral, Shooter, It's All Gone Pete Tong, Taken, Rounders, Gia, Crazy Beautiful, Law Abiding Citizen, Weekend at Bernies, etc.



Day 3 — I don't just have one.  I like Intervention, HIMYM, Two and a Half Men, House, Amazing Race, CSI (all 3), Biggest Loser, Teen Mom, Real World, Jersey Shore, Private Practice, Grey's Anatomy, Survivor, The Apprentice, Off the Map, Blue Bloods, Kendra, Kardashians. Yeah, I love my PVR :)

Day 4 — A favourite book - Anything by Stuart Woods, Dan Brown, John Grisham, Jodi Picoult and Alice Sebold.

I had a quiet weekend at home with the dogs, Jeff went up north with his brother and Dad to do the dog sled race.  He had fun, a lot of standing around though.  It was *almost* too quiet without Jeff at home.  Friday night I cleaned and watched the boob tube.  Saturday morning I got up,  tried to procure some UFC tickets to no avail, then went to my aerial class, which was fantastic.  Then went home, had something to eat, had a nap and then Tera came over with some wine for the evening.  Sunday morning, slept in with the boys.  Got up, showered, did two loads of laundry and had a bagel before Mom came over to get me with her 3 dogs and we all went to the dog park.  Dina met us there with Lily so it was a Bichon day at the dog park yesterday. :)  Went home, dogs were totally tuckered, Dina was going to get her car washed so she offered to take me grocery shopping, which I did while she was doing the Jeep. Went back home and had Nancy waiting for me so we went upstairs, had some coffee, she had tea, chatted quite a bit.  Then I made dinner as Jeff was on his way home and then he got home around 7:30.  Did another 2 loads of laundry of stinky snowmobiling smelling clothes and Bruce also swung by for a bit.  All in all, a quiet fairly uneventful weekend but had a good time with mom.  Sometimes it's nice to have the peace and quiet and then you can reflect back and learn to appreciate a person a bit more than you did previously.
 
Was just about to fall asleep last night when Jeff said, "Oh shit! I forgot something, can you check my closet?" forgetting that he had me turn around as he came in the door last night.  He had put a bouquet of flowers, chocolate, card and a dog magazine in a gift back and stuck them between his shirts in the closet that were hanging up.  How sweet!! :)  Good thing, we would've woken up this morning to dead flowers.  Sweet eh? Then again, Jeff can be the sweetest boy :)  This is one reason why I love him so.  <3

Having said that, at the moment my favorite song(s) is anything by KO, I really like the sound and vibe of that kid.  Listening to a lot of oldies lately though.

Jeff is away up north at his Dad's this weekend with his brother, they're marshalling the sled dog race again this year, so it's just me and the boys until Sunday.  Not much on the schedule, have some cleaning I'd like to get done, grocery shopping, organizing some stuff in our closets and perhaps going through some stuff to get rid of.  I also have my aerial class tomorrow which I'm looking forward to, I think my mom is coming to take pictures as well. :)  Then on Sunday, I believe her and I and the 5 dogs are going to the dog park, it'll be Mom's first time going.  The boys will show her "kids" how it goes and I'm sure they'll love it and be exhausted afterwards.
