So I took the dogs for a walk late on Tuesday night and this is the aftermath:
Little boys will be little boys. I swear, they found the only puddle in my town and mucked around in it and got black as toby's boot up to their elbows. Needless to say they had a foot bath when we got home. I was in the tub bathing them at 11 pm. Funny sight. And then of course, they went wild afterwards. God, they make me smile

So I signed up with Bloglovin in hopes that I'll get more ideas for blog posts, two, perhaps to garner more readers, although at the end of the day I don't really care, I don't write for anyone but myself and getting my thoughts down on paper so to speak and lastly, to just check it out.

Been doing a few dog and cat visits, more dogs this weekend than cats, which its usually the opposite I've had a German Short-haired Pointer on Friday night, she was a doll. She loved getting hugs and body scratches all over, she was just a sweetheart. But man, strong as an ox when I took her out for a walk. Yesterday, I had some cat visits in the morning, a client I've been to before and the cats are more like 2 dogs running around at your feet, lol. Then I went to a house with two Siamese. Totally your stereotypical Siamese. Standoff-ish, an air of snobby-ness. Well, I never saw the one female until this morning and the other, Cinnamon, she was shadowing me like I was her prey, really checking me out and following me around all slinky and quiet like, but would piss off if I got too close to her. Pretty things, though. They take longer to gain their trust, that's all. Then I had my regular Maltese visit at the retirement home. Then I went to go meet Quincey, this adorable, spunky little Yorkie. He's 11 but you'd hardly know it.
I had a visit with a Wheaton Terrier in this gated community that I hadn't even knew existed prior to yesterday. Dog was really quiet, but he was an older Gent, still had a good trot to him when I took him out for a walk though. I left after a half hour with that boy.
Saturday afternoon, in between the visits I had, we all decided to grace Bradford's Carrotfest with our presence, our being J and I, Alex and Greg.

Much of Sunday was spent just relaxing in between a couple of visits. Jeff shot up to Barrie to give Caitlynn a birthday card and gift for her 15th birthday. Can't believe that kid is that old, she used to be a wee thing when I first met her, my how time has flown.
I met to post this yesterday (Sunday) but got busy, obviously.
Have a great Monday and week :) xo

I'd like to find a way to post blogs but also read the blogs on my reader and the Blogger App is garbage. BlogPress I can't seem to find a good download, although I know most everyone and their brother with blogs uses BlogPress... I guess I can just suck it up....Must look into it.
Passed out on the couch last night somewhere in between 10:30 and 11 I think. Woke up at 5 am on the couch and Jeff on the little couch. Poor guy. LOL. He wonders why I'm tired... Hmm maybe it's because I walk at least 5 kms a day, I did spinning yesterday at lunch and then I did a 75 minute yoga class last night and wrapped up my evening by taking the dogs out for a walk, too. THAT is why I'm tired, my man. Mind you, he also went for an hour and a half bike tour around Newmarket..but still.
Tonight I'm cleaning the yoga studio, as per my usual Thursday routine. This weekend I'm working but looks like it'll be a light one, it'll be my least busiest weekend since I started with my Boss.
I've been reading a crazy amount of animal blogs where animals have been abused in horrific ways.. It's just so devastating. I don't understand how people can do that to the innocent ones...In my opinion, people that harm animals are murderers in the making. Something just isn't right in the brain if you think it's ok and acceptable to neglect, harm, abuse or mistreat an animal. I wish we lived on a big property but then again I suppose that's probably a good thing we don't because I'm sure I'd be fostering and adopting many animals and I'd be constantly saying to Jeff, "Just one more, please?" If it wasn't for the grace and love of some wonderful people that these animals are saved from the perils of their former lives.....
Skipping the gym today *gasp*, holy crap right? I'm meeting my good friend K for lunch outside, which should be nice considering it's supposed to be a gorgeous day out today.
That's all for now... :) <3>3>

Shootin targets....
So I was going to write a post about the weekend but it's not Tuesday and I'm kind of over it. Instead, I'll post some pictures...
All in all a good weekend. We ended up coming home real late on Saturday night and then slept in Sunday morning. Had a relaxing day, I had a headache for most of the day which sucked but thankfully I didn't have much on my plate other than cleaning a bit and laundry, ok that doesn't sound like "just a little bit". LOL That's right, I'm unable to sit still and relax, I don't know how.
Tonight I'm off to trim some cats nails. Should be interesting! lol
Peace xo <3>3>

It's Friday bitches, woot woot! We had a long weekend last week, which makes for a shorter work week but as such, the shorter weeks usually drag like nobodies business. But nevertheless, we're there. It's Friday. Jeff's taking the boys to my mom's place this afternoon and I'm going to try to get the hell out of here earlier than usual today so we can head up north in day light. Should be an alright weekend, supposed to be rainy all weekend but whatevs, we certainly need it.
Going to buy me some Lulu capris tonight. Fell in love with this purpley colour pair this week and I also need a new sports bra. In other great news, I'm going to a Yoga Retreat about 45 minutes from where I live with my fellow yogini, Marah. So stoked about that. It's at this fabulous place in the middle of nowhere and we're staying in a cabin. Sounds like so much fun and a nice and relaxing weekend. That will be in October. We wanted to head out to Wolfe Island, in Kingston but the cost of that weekend is over $400 with taxes so maybe we'll do that one in the spring. It's with Dallas Delahunt, Seane Corn's friend and assistant that she brought along with her to the Yoga Convention back in March. Beautiful and heavily tattooed woman, just gorgeous and something about her being is just marvelous.
I thought I was in for an easy day (don't we always think that on Fridays but in particular weeks that are shortened??) but alas, it has not been the case. Been wrangling around with IT, back and forth by email and phone and I'm getting sick of it. Just do what I ask, for the love of god!! I've wasted so much time dealing with IT it's utterly incredible.
On a happier note, I got my capris and sports bra. The angels are singing. Love it!
Anyways, I gotta go, perhaps I'll get a chance on the weekend to write while I'm up north. If not, until Monday.
Have a great weekend ;)

What I love Wednesdays....
What I love......
xox Namaste ~
- Coming home after a long day at work and seeing the smile on my love's face....
- Coming home after a long day and seeing my two very happy boys with their tails going a mile a minute. There is nothing to "I've missed you!" more than the love that is given at the front door....
- meeting new people and meeting new animal friends, whether it's through the part time job or if its just walking down the road, I stop all the time and drive Jeff bananas telling him "one sec.. I'll catch up!". lol
- Yoga...there's something about it that is soothing and nourishing for my soul. I've practiced for years now but it wasn't until last year that I felt it deepen....
- Reading but don't make it enough of a priority or time.....
- Lululemon gear and another line in the city, called Titika.....
- My Momma, more than anything in this world....
- Elephants... duh.
- Scuba diving....

My long weekend is finally over and I can now relax and breathe. I did 34 visits this weekend between Friday and yesterday evening. Mainly all cats but a few dogs plunked in there for some good measure. I can't even tell you how much I'm looking forward to this evening where I can do absolutely nothing and not feel bad about it. Well, I do want to take the dogs on a long walk to tire them out but apart from that, I'm just going to take it easy.
Meant to write a longer post but the day kinda escaped me. More later or tomorrow.

Monday morning write up ... :)
I just can't believe that it's August already, it feels like this past year has flown by it's incredible. We've had a really good summer this year but damn has it ever been humid. I've been working this weekend petsitting/dog walking. This morning I was on the go from 7:30 am up to 12:15. So to me, it really is a long weekend.
I'm writing this as I sit here on the couch with Jeff, Alex and Greg watching The Dictator. I just got back from my last visit of the night. The house is close by to where we live so we all ended up going out for a walk to get some exercise and plus, the boys got to meet Storm, so how could you beat that.
LOL I can't forget Baxter, he's in one of his usual positions, tits up, all fours in the air and showing off his teef aka his smile. LOL :) Makes me smile every time. :)
It's now Monday morning, the civic holiday Monday that most of the population has off. I tell you, it's nice going out in town because everyone seems to have deserted the streets for the great north and cottage and vacations galore. It's nice, it's very tranquil out in the mornings I've been going out to do my visits.
I have done 26 visits since Friday night and I've got 8 more to do between now and this evening, then I'm off until 2 weekends from now.
I'm currently sitting on out the patio with my love, my other love, Charlie and Alex is in a slumber inside. Life is good. Here's a recent picture of me. Did I mention that I got an iPhone and it's less than a week old and I've taken over 120 pictures on it AND I'm totally addicted to Instagram. It's the shiznit.
Have a lovely Monday everyone :)

And here is another critter I had the privilege of meeting this weekend. A pot belly piggy darling with the prettiest blue/grey eyes I've ever seen. Naturally, this piggy loved his belly rubbed, what pig doesn't? I just love how happy this little fella was, tail wagging and all. I got some mucky/muddy nose kisses from her which I didn't mind in the least. How could you with a face like that? :)
Now, this girl above is a beautiful princess and she bloody well knows it. Such pretty colours, but man is she snarly when her sister comes around. She's below. Not sister has in litter mate, of course, obvi. because the kitty below is a Lilac point Siamese. Very chatty when I'm doing up her food and much, much more affectionate then her compadre above. Kitty above is nice to take pictures of, she likes to observe YOU but isn't as keen on the love like the girl below.

I sometimes wonder who's reading my blog. At first, I'd get page views from Eastern Europe and Russia mainly, for some reason. Now I know I have more readership from North America, but nevertheless, I'm always curious who's lurking. I used to be a lot more anonymous and more apt on refraining from posting complete facial pictures, but now I just don't care. Why? Because this isn't for anyone but me. Blogging about life and how I feel and my journey here on this earth.
Jeff was just napping and grabbed my boob. lol
Anyways, off to visit some cats this evening.

Here are some of the Fossil watches that I'm digging...
I think it's time for a new watch soon, me thinks.
I'm up for an incredibly busy weekend wtih 33 cat and dog visits. Alex is heading down our way this weekend as well. Tomorrow should be thoroughly depressing. We're going with my mom to put her eldest dog to sleep. He hasn't been well for a year and a half, but mainly the last 2 months he hasn't been himself at all and we think he's suffering now. Mom has done absolutely everything and beyond for that dog and it's just such a shame.. He isn't the Oliver that we once knew. :(
I'll be going out in a minute to look for a new wallet and some new undies. Oooh. Good times :)

Greyhounds
These are the three Greyhounds that I looked after last night......It's like walking a horse. I brought Jeff along so I could take all three out at once. :)
